Navi Mumbai: Kulala Sangha’s Navi Mumbai Local Mahila Vibhag celebrated ‘Arasina Kumkum”on 10-2-2013 at Vashi Kannada Sangha Hall. Mrs. Rajeshwari Nethrakere, Chairperson of Kulala Ladies Wing presented over this functionand on the dais, Mrs. Mallika D. Kulal (Chairperson of Navi Mumbai Mahila Vibhag), Mrs. Malathi J. Anchan (Secretary, Navi Mumbai Mahila Vibhag), Mrs. Sunitha S. Moolya (Treasurer, Navi Mumbai Mahila Vibhag). Dr. Suchitra H. Salian and chief guest Mrs. Anita S. Shetty (Corporator, Navi Mumbai Nerul) were present. Mrs. Shakuntala R. Banjan, Mrs. Baby V. Moolya and Mrs. Usha R. Moolya rendered the prayer which was followed by lighting of lamp by Mrs. Rajeshwari Nethrakere and others present on the dais.
Mrs. Anita S. Shetty spoke at length on the importance of being born as a lady and stated that a woman discharges her duty in various segments of life with love, care and precision as daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Rajeshwari Nethrakere spoke on the importance of the occasion and urged everyone to treat all womenfolk with love, care and respect.
Mrs. Sumathi S. Banjan (Chairperson, Thane-Karjat-Kasara-Bhiwandi Mahila Vibhag), Mrs. Rekha A. Moolya (Secretary, Thane-Karjat-Kasara-Bhiwandi Mahila Vibhag), Mrs. Ratna D. Kulal (Secretary, Churchgate-Dahisar Mahila Vibhag), Mrs. Mamta G. Salian (Chairperson, CST-Mulund-Mankhurd Mahila Vibhag) and Mrs. Indira R. Banjan (Secretary, CST-Mulund-Mankhurd Mahila Vibhag) took part in the function. Mrs. Latha R. Moolya introduced the guest and other personalities present on the dais. After exchange of Arasina, Kumkum and pleasantries, the women took part in the indoor games. The proceedings of the function were compered by Mrs. Malathi J. Anchan who delivered vote of thanks on conclusion.
