An Appeal
The seed of “Kulala Sangha” sowed by Kulala Ancestors about 84 years ago in Mumbai has today grown into a big tree giving much needed shade and support in charitable ways to the society members in and around Mumbai. The Sangha, under its annual charter, has various programmes of social obligations which it has been fulfilling sincerely year after year. While fulfilling the needs of members within the scope of its charter of aims and objects, the various managing committees of the Sangha have been singularly responsible for the overall growth of Kulala Sangha which has now come to be recognized as a powerful charitable institution in Mumbai with noble values and ethics.
There is a long list of feathers in the cap of Sangha over the years during the long journey since its establishment in 1929. One such achievement is that Kulala sangha has acquired a large property measuring 62 Cents in the heart of Mangalore in Jeppu Mangaladevi. Presently, the said substantially large property in prime area of Mangalore has remained utilized. On the rear side of this property “ Kulala Bhavana” and “Student’s Hostel” are existing with nearly 90% of the property remaining open and non-utilized. In the light of sound suggestion from the members and well-wishers of the Sangha to construct a spacious and well-equipped auditorium in he vacant space available in front portion of the land, the managing committee after giving due consideration to the suggestion, has decided to make the project of the said auditorium a reality. We are on the verge of stepping into 25 years since the acquisition of Mangalore Property and this project will be a fitting commemoration of the Silver Jubilee occasion.
Main features of the said project are as follows. To construct the auditorium (Kulala Bhavana) with 5th floor, first floor and basement (for parking the vehicles). The hall in the ground floor will have the capacity to accommodate about 1,000 persons. The project is expected to be completed within a period of about 02 years with an estimated cost of Rs. 10 Crores. The resources for this project will be in the form of deposits from members and well wishers refundable with accrued simple interest after the completion of project. The Sangha also solicits generous donations from members and will-wishers.
Kulala Sangha appeals to all its members and well-wishers to strengthen its hands to fulfill the above project withn your contributions in the form of refundable deposits and also by way of donations. We request you all to have the privilege of being with us in this mission. About Project
Kulala Sangha, under its present charter, has various programmes enlisted towards fulfillment of its social obligations. Presently, the income generated by the old Kulala Bhavana, Mangalore is utilized to take care of the social charitable activities of the Sangha. However, the times have changed and the small old-type Hall (Kulala Bhavana) in Mangalore is not able to generate the desired income in the face of stiff competition from various modern and well-equipped halls in the region. Its impact on Sangha's income has been gradually hampering the social activities of the Sangha. Hence, it has become necessary to have a modernized and spacious hall to cater to the demands and thus, enable the Sangha to meet its social obligations.
Presently, the substantially large property measuring 62 cents in prime area of Mangalore (Mangaladevi) is unutilized. The members and well-wishers of the Sangha have advised Managing Committee to go for the construction of a bigger hall in the vacant space available in the front portion of the property. In light of such well-meant suggestions and advices, the Managing Committee has given due consideration to the pros and cons of venturing out into such a large project and in larger interests of the Sangha, has decided to construct a spacious, well-equipped hall in Sangha's land in Mangaladevi, Mangalore.

2. Ground Floor: 12234 sq. ft.
3. First Floor: 12710 sq. ft.
4. Second Floor: 12710 sq. ft.
5. Third Floor: 12710 sq. ft.
6. Fourth Floor: Multipurpose Hall
Building built with quality materials, ample car parking below the podium, palatial double height entrance lobby, speed elevators including stretcher elevators, close circuit security with intercom connection, common washroom, separate electricity meter, air-condition provision, house keeping, security, flooring, window grill, wood door, water supply etc.
The above are the details of Kulala Sangha's proposed dream project of constructing a well-equipped, modernized, spacious auditorium on its own land in Mangalore which will secure comfortable financial stability for Kulala Sangha to carry out its various charitable activities in future.
We will give the space for educational, banking and training institutions etc.
